Kurt Angle To Make More Appearances For WWE WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has provided an update on his WWE future following his recent WWE Raw appearance.

The Olympic gold medalist made his WWE return on the August 29 edition of Raw in Pittsburgh. Angle featured in a nostalgic segment with Edge, and drank milk with the Street Profits following their match with Alpha Academy.

Speaking on his Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle reflected on the day, and his interactions with the new Head of Creative Triple H:

“They had a limo pick me up at my house, which is really cool, take me down to the event. I immediately went to rehearsal, Triple H was the head of rehearsal. He was telling me what to do, how to do it, what to say. There were also other producers.

“Spud (Drake Maverick) was another producer. The writer was Ryan Ward, I thought he did a great job. I haven’t seen him (Triple H) in so long. To see him in his new position, he’s doing so well with it. He’s very comfortable.

“He hired a big team underneath him to take care of everything he needs to be taken care of, kind of like the way Vince did. Vince ran everything, but he had people reporting to him. Triple H had to set up his own team, the same way Vince did. Who he was comfortable with.

“Obviously, he hired Road Dogg, Shawn Michaels has stepped up. He’s got his boys there. I think it’s great because they have great chemistry together.”

Noting that he was told that WWE is interested in working with him more in the future, Angle said:

“It was a lot of fun to reminisce about the past. What we were doing that night, I did a really cool and funny pre-tape with Edge and Rey Mysterio where Edge got me again with the poster boards and ‘You still suck.’ It was a lot of fun. We reenacted that from 2002. It was Edge’s idea and it was a great idea,”

“They told me after, ‘Hey, we want to work with you in the future.'”

The episode was the go-home show for Clash At The Castle, which took place on September 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
