A late change made to the lineup for the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday night has now been revealed.
Including the pre-show, nine matches took place at the March 5 event. The show was headlined by a 60 minute ironman match, with MJF defending his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson.
In the first match of the main Revolution card, Ricky Starks defeated Chris Jericho in singles action.
A report from Fightful Select (subscription required) has indicated that AEW switched the opening match late in the day, with a reported match order posted hours before the show noting that the Christian Cage vs. Jack Perry Final Burial match was originally slated to go on first.
The Final Burial match ultimately went on second, after the Starks vs Jericho showdown.
During this bout, Perry shut Cage in a casket to score a victory over his former mentor.
In the main event of the show,MJF defeated Danielson four points to Danielson’s three, with MJF’s final point scored during Sudden Death.
An update has emerged on an incident involving MJF and a young fan, which you can read more about right here.
