Liv Morgan Throws Shade At Former WWE Star Following Nickname Controversy? WWE

WWE star Liv Morgan has thrown shade at a former WWE star following a Twitter controversy surrounding their nickname.

Ahead of WWE 2K24’s release on March 8, WWE Games have been releasing several entrances for the game’s roster to amp up hype for the release of the game.

Today’s wrestler showcased was Liv Morgan, with WWE Games sharing her entrance for the game with the caption ‘Queen of Extreme’.

However, the caption caught the interest of former ECW and WWE star Francine, who used the ‘Queen of Extreme’ nickname back in ECW, and owns the trademark on the nickname for use in professional wrestling.

Taking to Twitter, Francine wrote:

Hey @WWEgames I have The Queen of Extreme trademarked. Do you need something sent to you guys again from my lawyer?

Providing clarification in a follow up tweet, she wrote:

To all the ignorant 20somethings that are trolling me, I’ve used #QueenOfExtreme for decades and paid for the trademark. Which means no one else can use it. It starts with a tweet, then used in entrances and on games, mags, etc. You have to fight for what is legally yours.

Following Francine’s tweets, WWE Games changed the caption, with it now saying ‘You Only Liv Once’.

Francine posted a final tweet on the matter, saying:

Haha they took it down. Good on them! They did the right thing. For those you always support me, I ❤️ you! All I can say is the block feature was utilized a lot today lol. What’s right is right! Always stand up for yourself!

However, despite the change of the caption, Liv Morgan reacted to the video of her own entrance, seemingly throwing shade at Francine, by writing:

Queen of extremely absurd physical feats 🤭😉
