RK Bro, Cody Rhodes and Ezekiel vs. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Usos

After full entrances for all, there’s an all-out brawl going into the first commercial break.

In a very fun match that saw a lot of interesting combinations of opponents, finally, it led where it was always meant to – the most over thing in all of WWE, a Randy Orton hot tag! Randy entered the match and cleaned house, hitting an RKO on every member of the heel squad to get the pinfall victory.

Twenty years of Randy Orton and three pretty entertaining hours of Raw!

Rhea Ripley backstage

Rhea Ripley in a backstage interview says she’s done with disappointments and then gets attacked by Liv Morgan to continue their storyline. Cool.

Mustafa Ali vs. The Miz

Miz TV segment with Theory where Miz compares Theory to… himself of course. Touting how awesome they both were until business really picked up with the return of Mustafa Ali! Both Miz and Theory notably made mention of the very public drama with Ali behind the scenes at WWE (“You even still work here?” “Aren’t you the guy who took his ball and went home?”) and Ali counters that isn’t Theory, Mr. McMahon’s special little project? Does he have any BALLS?! He’s here to challenge for the United States title, tonight!

Theory accepts a match challenge but not for himself and the title, instead for the Miz!

Ali and Miz have a nice little match, there was nothing particularly special about this match but it is always nice to see Mustafa Ali, and appreciated commentary and the ring announcer made sure to pronounce Mustafa Ali’s name properly.

Ali picks up the pinfall victory. The celebration wouldn’t last long however as Ali was up the ramp and attacked from behind by Ciampa!

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

Priest is introduced as representing ‘Judgement Day’ so Edge’s faction will sadly not be named Spooky Purple Society as I had hoped. The throne moves down the ramp on it’s own in a somewhat spooky and magical fashion.

Balor gets distracted in the final moments of the match by Edge standing up from his throne, allowing Damian Priest to pick up the pinfall victory.

After his win, he goes back to the throne with Edge, kneels to him and then stands tall to end the segment.

Becky Lynch promo + ASUKA returns!

Becky Lynch cuts a promo about how she couldn’t face the WWE universe because she doesn’t even know who she is without her women’s championship. She realizes that if she’s at rock bottom then the only place for her to go is up! There’s NO one who does comebacks better than Becky Lynch, there’s NO one who can stop her!

… Asuka’s music hits and she returns to a great crowd reaction.

After a brief verbal spat, Becky ran away from Asuka leaving her to rightfully stand tall  to end the segment.

24/7 Title Shenanigans

In the continuation of the same skit that has been running for months (I’m not exactly complaining, just an observation) on Raw, the 24/7 title gets an actual match on this episode, seeing a mixed tag team match with Tamina and Akira Tozawa vs. Reggie and Dana Brooke with R-Truth as the referee.

Akira Tozawa and Tamina win via pinfall after Akira pins Reggie but after the match, he tries to also pin Dana to make off with the title while Truth seems to be helping her… but then tries to roll Dana up for the pin himself! She is able to escape with her title.

Arm Wrestling Match - Omos vs. Bobby Lashley

A promo segment from MVP into the arm wrestling match – while Bobby Lashley beat Omos, Omos is a very sore loser and attacks Lashley after the match, hitting him repeatedly with the arm wrestling table and then standing tall over Bobby, who was laid out and being checked on by the ref.

Veer vs. Sam Smothers

Unfortunately local talent, Sam Smothers falls quickly to Veer and the cervical clutch which he yet again gets the submission win but then “victory is NOT ENOUGH for Veer Mahaan” who hit the second cervical clutch on the outside for the second one before throwing him on the announcer’s desk, jumping up and then going for a third cervical clutch on the desk.

Bianca Belair vs. Sonya Deville

Bianca wins via count-out but Sonya restarts the match with no count-outs.

Bianca wins via disqualification after a chair shot from Sonya but Sonya restarts the match with no DQ and is joined by Queen Zelina and Carmella making it essentially a 3:1 match into the commercial break.

Back from break, gratefully a quick last match as after some heel shenanigans, Bianca is able to reverse Sonya into the corner where a chair was waiting, did a back handspring into the ropes to eliminate Carmella on the apron and back to Sonya to land a KOD for the win.

Bianca is wearing fantastic University of Tennessee Volunteers inspired gear for her hometown win and I love it.

Randy Orton 20 year celebration!

A nice video package plays for Randy Orton and I’m glad WWE is making this an actual celebration; not only has Orton had a long and storied career, but it’s also nice to celebrate someone before they’re not ill,  injured or deceased.

Riddle introduces Raaaaandy who joins, then out comes Cody Rhodes, they hug but are interrupted by Seth Rollins who is interrupted by Ezekiel who is interrupted by Kevin Owens who is interrupted by the Usos to set up a monster match for our Monday main event!

Almost time!
