WWE Raw Live Results – June 13, 2022 WWE

Hello and welcome to our live coverage for tonight’s WWE Raw as the road to Money in the Bank on July 2 continues!

Here’s what’s been announced for tonight’s show:

  • Judgment Day return to Raw with a “new direction” after Finn Balor took over from Edge last week
  • Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins answers for his attack on Cody Rhodes last week.

Yep, that’s it so far. There were two Money in the Bank qualifying matches on SmackDown this past Friday, so maybe look out for some of those tonight too.

Either way, follow along with our live coverage below for all the updates, results and reactions for tonight’s show.

Theory Invitational Pose-Down

Oh wow, this is dumb … meaning it could turn out to be epic! There is quite literally a pose down, Adam Pearce announces Bobby Lashley the winner, and then Theory squirts baby oil in his eyes to then stand tall for an abrupt end to the show at exactly 11 pm EST, no overrun, directly into Miz & Mrs. Wild ride tonight with a lot of good in-ring work and some fun pairings I’d love to see more from!

production p.s. Maybe some characters should always have headset mics because that bit at the end with Theory was fantastic!

Rey Mysterio vs. Veer Mahaan

It is not hyperbole for me to say I don’t know what to say about this pairing that hasn’t already been said because this entirely one-note rivalry continues with Mahaan smashing through a Mysterio again. Hopefully, Mahaan gets to move on to a more substantive feud soon!

Mustafa Ali vs. Chad Gable

Fairly fast match with fun crowd work from Ali and Gable alike, these two make the most out of whatever screen time they’re given! Gable wins essentially clean (albeit a little bit of an Otis distraction) but neither of the two incredible athletes seemed to capture the imagination of the crowd in this match.

Bianca Belair and Judgment Day

Bianca Belair comes out in THE cutest outfit, super-bright pink, gold and sparkly when dark cloud Rhea Ripley appears alongside what I saw someone on Twitter refer to as the “Undertaker Appreciation Society” pops up on the screen and sort of? explains why Edge was kicked out of Judgment Day.

Rhea Ripley tells Bianca that she doesn’t have to tell people she’s intimidating, she just is!

Matt Riddle vs. Ciampa

Pretty random match which sees Riddle run over Ciampa in short order to pick up the big victory on his way to meet Roman Reigns at SmackDown on Friday!

AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins

A qualifying match for the Money in the Bank titular match pitting these two against each other with plenty of time left in the show however without a very long match. The two captivating in-ring storytellers seem to only scratch the surface as we don’t see anything particularly spectacular from either but the match left more to be desired from the pairing, in a good way!

Seth Rollins picks up the win via pinfall to gain entry into the men’s Money in the Bank match.

MVP vs. Cedric Alexander

#AliVsAlexander? Nope! MVP vs. Cedric Alexander with a quick, dare I say “squash match” – yes!

Backstage there’s a set of promos before their entrances which will undoubtedly be longer than the preceding match, AJ reiterates that he smacked Seth for Cody and the MITB has been the prize that has eluded him and his path towards victory starts by beating up Seth!

Seth Rollins dedicates his win tonight and his subsequent win at Money in the Bank to the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. He’s such a compelling bad guy, oh brother this Seth Freakin’ Rollins is so good.

Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens

I am easily worked so I’m genuinely concerned about Kevin Owens having taken that Death Valley Driver on the stairs but okay, he finished the match so I won’t freak out. The match ends after KO is counted out although Ezekiel is able to beat the ten to make it back to the ring, thereby winning the match. Ezekiel announces that his brother Elias WILL be on Raw!

Alexa Bliss & Liv Morgan vs. Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H.

Umm… is chest bumping going to become a thing for Nikki and Doudrop before the match because that’s weird. This match didn’t get a ton of time as Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan both qualify for the Money in the Bank after Bliss hits the DDT

(entirely self appointed) WrestleTalk Fashion Police here – is this supposed to

Dana Brooke vs. Becky Lynch for 24/7 Championship

Becky beats Dana up and then hops on the mic to give a wild eyed promo in the middle of beating down Brooke, stating her determination to win Money in the Bank but right now, she has something else to do – and attempts to go back to her beatdown of Dana Brooke until Asuka’s music hits.

This is not a match but Becky and Asuka get in the ring, and it is less of an exchange and more like Asuka doing a lot of twirling strikes?

Becky retreats up the ramp as Asuka is still in the ring when Alexa Bliss’ music hits and she enters Becky starts shouting her down too, referencing her 2018 MITB match up that saw her lose at the last minute after getting shoved off of a ladder by Alexa Bliss.

Bliss hilariously just half waves and keeps walking past her to the ring.

Asuka seemed confused about what she was supposed to be doing. Dana disappeared.

Seth Rollins segment

A nice backstage interview segment between Kevin Patrick and Seth Rollins, explaining his actions against Cody last week.

Seth makes a somewhat valid point in noting that he attacked Cody because he had become a danger to himself and others, mentioning coming back for Money in the Bank with a torn pec? Not on his watch!

Seth Rollins says “In my WWE, it’s adapt or perish. It always has been, it always will be.”He has no remorse! He takes pride in it! The American Nightmare is over, Monday Night Rollins is back!

Rollins goes on to discuss his MITB intentions and is not particularly concerned about his qualifying match with AJ Styles – until Styles emerges and punches Seth, telling him “that was for Cody” before the segment ends!

Montez Ford vs. Jimmy Uso

Despite the fact we’ve seen this one a few times now, I’m still not fully sick of it because both teams are so spectacular, a singles match? Sounds good to me!

As noted on commentary, the Usos floating between Raw and SmackDown can be incredible wearing on the body to which Graves retorts, “some superstars become sharper, if you’re competing multiple times per week, it makes you sharper.” lol, that’s a new one! Yikes!

In the end, Ford lays down his typically beautiful frog splash but Jimmy was able to get the knees up, roll up Ford and get the pinfall victory.

Miz TV with Paul Heyman

Miz TV with Paul Heyman with an interruption by Riddle as Heyman reveals the stipulation for Riddle’s match on Friday against Roman Reigns, if he loses he will never be eligible to challenge Roman Reigns for the undisputed championship again!

New Direction For Judgment Day

An Edge-less Judgment Day will be in the house tonight, and there are rumors of a whole new direction for the group…
