It has come to light that a major AEW star got hurt during his match on this past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite on TNT.
In the opening match on the show, Miro, formerly known as Rusev in WWE, made his in-ring debut for the promotion, teaming with Kip Sabian in a win over Joey Janela & Sonny Kiss.
During that match, you may have noticed Miro limping after falling to the outside of the ring.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that the Miro wasn’t just selling and did legitimately tweak his ankle.
It was added, however, that Miro felt okay after the match and is now doing absolutely fine.
Many viewers criticised the match, saying that Miro should have been put over stronger with a squash win in a singles match for his debut.
