A major dream match has been set up for the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door show.

At today’s NJPW Dominion show, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii faced off against Shota Umino, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli.

After the match, a video aired of AEW’s Bryan Danielson walking through a desert.

Danielson spoke to Okada, telling him that he can make it rain anywhere, before challenging him to a match at Forbidden Door.

Also on the show, Will Ospreay defeated Lance Archer to earn a shot at Kenny Omega’s IWGP United States Championship at Forbidden Door.

Forbidden Door is set to take place on June 25 in Toronto, Canada.

Danielson was in action at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, where he was a part of the Anarchy In The Arena main event.
