Major WWE Royal Rumble Title Match Cancelled

The Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman at Royal Rumble is off.

Rumours circulated earlier today that WWE were going to shoot an angle that would change the match, due to Braun Strowman evidently not being cleared to return from his elbow surgery.

Strowman claimed in a show-opening promo on Raw that he was cleared and that Lesnar was afraid of him, which brought out Baron Corbin. He mocked Braun for only lasting five minutes with Lesnar the last time they met and told him he would never headline WrestleMania.

Because he is bonkers, Strowman chased Corbin to the back and tracked him down in Vince McMahon’s limo, which he learned via a musical assist from Elias. Hulk Strowman smashed up the limo, which infuriated McMahon, who said his actions would cost him $100,000. When Braun argued, Vince cancelled his title shot.

Strowman, because he is Strowman, flipped the limo in frustration.

Suddenly the complexion of Royal Rumble and possibly WrestleMania just took a major turn.
