A major WWE star’s role in the upcoming NXT Great American Bash event has been confirmed.
It was rumoured yesterday that none other than Cody Rhodes would have involvement in this weekend’s NXT Great American Bash event, specifically to do the voice over for the intro for the show.
The Rhodes name is obviously synonymous with the Great American Bash event, so Cody doing the narration for the show would be rather fitting.
Shawn Michaels took part in a media call for the upcoming show, where he confirmed that Cody will be providing the intro for the show.
The main event of the show will see Carmelo Hayes defend the NXT Championship against Ilja Dragunov.
During the media call, Shawn also confirmed the next NXT premium live event, NXT No Mercy, will take place on September 30 in Bakersfield, California.
Cody is set to face off against Brock Lesnar for the third time at SummerSlam next weekend in Detroit.
