Popular AEW Star Provides Injury Update, Feels He Can Wrestle Again AEW

AEW star Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks has now provided an update on his injury, following his return to AEW TV.

Matt suffered a torn bicep during the Elite vs Jericho Appreciation Society vs House of Black three-way trios tag-team match on the March 15 episode of Dynamite.

After he was seemingly written off of TV on the March 22 show, which opened with the Young Bucks in ambulances after a backstage attack, the former AEW Trios Champion has since appeared on AEW TV, appearing alongside Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega for a brawl with the Blackpool Combat Club on the April 12 Dynamite.

During the latest episode of Being The Elite, Matt Jackson noted that he was set to receive shockwave therapy in Los Angeles.

Noting that he feels he’s in relatively good shape, Matt said:

“Usually, at the end of the loop, we all drive home together.

This week, I have to go head back to (Los Angeles) and get some more shockwave therapy on my arm.

“It’s feeling pretty good, though, all things considered … I felt like I could wrestle after last night.”

Shockwave therapy is used to reduce pain and promote healing to injured tissue. It’s a non-invasive treatment, indicating that Matt is still confident that he won’t need a major surgery.
