Matt Riddle Shoots Hard On Goldberg…Again

Well it was really only a matter of time before Riddle took another shot at his favourite target Goldberg, wasn’t it?

Unsurprisingly, during an interview with BT Sports, Riddle was asked about his backstage heat with Goldberg, which has been well documented over the past year or two.

Once again, Riddle didn’t hold back with his thoughts on old Bill, who once confronted Riddle backstage as a result of all his shooting.

“I think the only way I could get Goldberg in a ring with me is if he gets to murder me, and I have to let him. He couldn’t do it in real life, that’s that. I think he would agree to get in the ring with me, but if I promise to let him beat me up. If we could work it out any other way, my goal is I would love to have a sweet match with him. I think I’m good enough to where I could do it. I think to redeem him completely, I’m not even saying to win, I’m not that guy, I’m all about the quality of work. So if we can make quality work and you’d be willing to listen to what I have to say and I’ll listen to what you have to say. I will, but I think it could be magical. I think the fans would eat it up.  The guy really doesn’t like me, I really don’t like his work to be fair. I get it, he has a presence just like I have a presence.”

Despite this, Riddle thinks the two of them could put on a great match together if they were allowed to work one.

“I don’t think it’ll happen, I don’t think it will ever happen, the guy literally refuses to acknowledge me on multiple occasions in a public form, interviews, and everything. I don’t blame him, the guy is like, ‘what if he shoots on me?’ I would be scared too, bro.”

Riddle finished by saying Goldberg should enjoy wrestling while he can, and that he’s ready and waiting if Goldberg wants a fight.
