IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone has now taken to social media to react to a claim that she’s the ‘female Dean Ambrose’.
Mone is currently preparing to defend her IWGP Women’s Title against Mayu Iwatani STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom event on April 23.
The former ‘Sasha Banks’ certainly entertained during the recent press conference, performing her ‘new hit single’ titled ‘Mayu Sucks’, before eventually dropping Mayu with her Mone Maker finisher.
A fan took to Twitter to compare Mone to another former WWE star, calling her the ‘female Dean Ambrose’.
While some initially thought that the Twitter user was commenting on the wackiness of the segment, they later clarified that they were arguing that both Moxley and Mone are worse off after leaving WWE.
Mone has now replied to this tweet, comparing herself to another star:

The former ‘Dean Ambrose’ currently wrestles for AEW as Jon Moxley. He signed a five-year deal with the promotion last year, which includes added coaching and mentorship roles, so it’s safe to say Moxley is pretty happy where he is, and isn’t expecting to return to WWE anytime soon.
A rising AEW star has revealed that Moxley regularly gives them feedback on their matches, which you can read more about right here.
