Mercedes Mone has teased a ‘fun year’ amid speculation that she is soon set to sign with All Elite Wrestling.
There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Mercedes Mone, the former Sasha Banks, over the past few weeks.
It was originally noted that tentative AEW plans for Mercedes were no longer in place, with speculation that she could be set for a WWE return.
Since then, WWE sources have noted that talks between her and the company have fallen through, and that she was expected by many within the industry to be AEW-bound.
Taking to Instagram amid the speculation, Mercedes teased that this year was ‘gonna be fun’, attached with a photo of herself seemingly crying after receiving some news.
Another major women’s free agent officially became All Elite last night, when Deonna Purrazzo announced that she had signed with the company.
In terms of women’s free agents, another major WWE target has seemingly dropped a new hint that they’re set to join the company.
