MJF Delivers Hilarious Insult On AEW Dynamite

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, another appearance by the fan favorite tag team, MJF and Adam Cole during which MJF delivered a hilarious insult.

In a segment that started off as a promo by MJF on FTR ahead of the tag team title match on Saturday’s July 29 episode of Collision, MJF started out hot.

After coming for FTR (including an amusing Dax Harwood impression) first, he and Adam Cole were united in their goal of becoming new tag team champs until they were interrupted.

Roderick Strong was there again to remind Adam Cole that MJF was obviously up to no good and was not to be trusted.

After being confronted, MJF and Roddy exchanged words that were largely inaudible at first as the pair shouted over one another however, when you listen more closely, MJF is actually being hilariously vicious.

Continuing to poke at Strong for being ‘generic’, MJF called Strong a “default CAW”, in the scene.

For non-video game aficionados, ‘CAW’ refers to the ‘Create-A-Wrestler’ option in wrestling video games which is a brutal way to yet again call Strong pedestrian.

On a previous episode, MJF greeted Strong by saying, “What’s up generic white guy?”

While MJF and Adam Cole continue to pledge their friendship, Strong continues to attempt to warn Cole about MJF, assuming that the AEW World Champion is simply biding his time before betraying his new bestie.

Interestingly tonight, Adam Cole instead reinforced boundaries with Roderick Strong, telling him in the segment that he was being possessive!

The duality of this relationship is playing very nicely as an emotional storyline, despite the dance off that elsewhere in the segment during FTR’s rebuttal to MJF and Cole’s promo was chided as being a mockery of tag team wrestling.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite through an interweaving story that that evolved throughout the show, Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley seem to have started a new feud.
