MJF Sends Message To Samoa Joe After Heated AEW Dynamite Promo AEW

MJF and Samoa Joe exchanged words on the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite and have continued their feud online.

Exchanging barbs during their heated discussion on Dynamite, as can be seen in the video below this news story, after their All Out interaction.

With Joe continuing to call MJF “kid”, the AEW World Champion shared his own names for the ROH TV Champion, including Pillsbury Joe Boy, Samoa Dough and others.

MJF would go on to a storytime segment, recounting their encounter in WWE, contact with William Regal and even had a moment of respect for Joe.

The crowd were lapping up every word from the AEW World Champion, but Samoa Joe would reveal:

“I didn’t think you were a little kid, Max. I thought you were a little bitch.”

Joe would absorb a slap across the face from MJF, revealing that he was going to go through the AEW World Title #1 Contender tournament.

It looked like this would be the end, until Joe attacked MJF from behind, lifting the AEW World Title aloft.

MJF would hit a low blow from behind, stomping Joe only to be put back on the mat.

Adam Cole came to the rescue, preventing Joe from hitting a Muscle Buster.

Commenting on what happened on AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe tweeted:

“Man.. I hope that Kid is OK …”

MJF replied with words that would echo a chant from the crowd, writing:

“Max is gonna kill you.”

The AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament will see the winner go on to face MJF at AEW Grand Slam on September 20, 2023.

The semi-finals will take place on the September 9 episode of AEW Collision with the final taking place on the September 13 episode of Dynamite.

Details for the qualifier tournament can be found here, with Darby Allin and Roderick Strong both advancing as a result of their matches on Dynamite.
