Moose Reveals Original Plan For The Return Of The TNA Championship

Moose was a guest on the  Wrestling with Sports podcast. He discussed his current run with the TNA Championship and how it came to be.

“We actually had to change the storyline a lot because the initial storyline we were supposed to have [TNA: There’s No Place Like Home] and the main event of that show was supposed to be the King of the Mountain match. They were gonna announce the day of the show on social media that now the King of the Mountain match was for the TNA Heavyweight Championship. I was supposed to win it but then coronavirus happened and everything got shut down and that show got canceled.”

Moose is scheduled to defend the TNA Title at Slammiversary this weekend against Tommy Dreamer. WrestleTalk will be providing live coverage of Slammiversary on Saturday Night.

There were a lot of interesting things planned for the TNA Reunion show. Ken Anderson was supposed to team with D’Lo and bring back Aces & Eights. However, TNA has been teasing the return of the faction at the pay-per-view this weekend.

Of course, this could include Doc/Luke Gallows returning now as well. Both Gallows and Karl Anderson have teased appearing on the show. ECIII and Eric Young are also heavily rumored to be potential surprises. Also, don’t be surprised if Bully Ray makes an appearance.
