A new member of the Bloodline made their debut at tonight’s WWE Night of Champions event, leading to a title change.
The latest fracture in the Bloodline took place at WWE Money In The Bank, when United States Champion Jacob Fatu betrayed Solo Sikoa during the men’s Money In The Bank match.
The betrayal set up a title match between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu for tonight’s WWE Night of Champions event, which saw a rather chaotic finish.
First we saw the return of Tonga Loa, who had been out of action since Survivor Series WarGames back in November, with him coming to the aid of Solo Sikoa.
When Tonga Loa’s return wasn’t enough, Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga’s brother Hikuleo made his WWE debut, though he wasn’t named on the show, with him Chokeslamming Jacob onto the announce table.
Hikuleo’s interference allowed Solo to pin Jacob to become the new United States Champion, the first title of his main roster career.
Hikuleo actually signed with WWE about a year ago, but only made his in-ring debut over the past couple of weeks in untelevised matches before SmackDown tapings.
