Night one of WrestleMania 36 kicked off tonight with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross challenging Asuka and Kairi Sane for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
To the surprise of most people, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated The Kabuki Warriors to capture the belts. They become the first duo in history to hold the women’s titles twice.
PURE EMOTION.

This would certainly indicate that a report made earlier this week which suggested WrestleMania will be filled with babyface wins is true, with this being the first.
I’m sure this is not the title win that Bliss and Cross hoped for, with no fans in attendance. However, when all is said and done, Cross and Bliss are now two-time champs.
Asuka and Kairi Sane both deserve more. Let’s hope WWE made the call to have the duo drop the titles as they realised that having two of their best female in-ring workers is a waste.
