WWE SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis has now reacted to Randy Orton dropping him with an RKO on SmackDown.
Throughout Friday’s (December 1) show, Aldis and Raw general manager Adam Pearce attempted to win over Randy Orton, who was preparing to sign with one of the two brands.
Following an altercation with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, Orton signed the SmackDown roster, officially joining the blue brand.
Nick Aldis then entered the ring to celebrate with Orton, who had one more RKO left to dish out.
Orton dropped his new boss with his signature maneuver, ahead of the show going off the air.
Aldis has now taken to Twitter to comment on this RKO, writing:
It really is outta nowhere.
Aldis also took to his Instagram Story to share the video of him receiving the RKO, noting that he has ‘no words’.
The Viper notably went on an 18 month hiatus to deal with his back injury in May 2022 after dropping RK-Bro’s Raw Tag Team Championship to The Usos, who Reigns had previously ordered to unify the Raw and SmackDown tag titles.
John Cena has now commented on Orton’s WWE SmackDown return, which you can read more about right here.
It really is outta nowhere.
