Here are the results are in from night one of NJPW’s Battle Autumn which took place on October 14 at Korakeun Hall in Toyko, Japan.
The show saw the start of the NJPW World TV Title tournament, with tournament matchups including David Finlay vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and Zack Sabre Jr vs Alex Zayne.
Matches within the tournament operate under a 15-minute time limit. In matches that hit the time limit, the decision on who advances will be made with a coin toss.
David Finlay and Zack Sabre Jr were victorious in their respective bouts. The two stars will face each other in the next round of the tournament on October 27.
First round action continues on October 15 with YOSHI-HASHI vs Jeff Cobb and Aaron Henare vs EVIL.
The first-ever NJPW World TV Champion will be crowned at NJPW’s upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view at the Toyko Dome on January 4 2023.

- CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI, Toru Yano & Hirooki Goto) def. United Empire (Aaron Henare, Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan)
- Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Titan & BUSHI) def. United Empire (Gideon Grey, Francesco Akira & TJP)
