The NXT Breakout Tournament Finals have been set for next week’s episode of NXT.
Odyssey Jones was able to defeat Trey Baxter on last week’s show, punching his ticket to the final. He had previously beaten Andre Chase in the first round.
On tonight’s show, Carmelo Hayes defeated Duke Hudson in the last semifinal match. His first-round match had been against Josh Briggs.
After the match, Hayes said that he is the final boss of the tournament and Odyssey Jones said next week the NXT fans will sound the alarm.
The winner of the NXT Breakout Tournament will receive a championship match against the champion of their choosing. The inaugural tournament was won by Jordan Myles (ACH) who wrestled Adam Cole unsuccessfully for the NXT Championship.
