WWE announced that NXT 2.0 star Troy ‘Two Times’ Donovan had been released over the weekend, but that didn’t stop him appearing on this week’s show.
Two Dimes was released due to a policy violation, however, WWE had already taped the next two weeks of NXT television prior to his release, which features him in prominent spots alongside Tony D’Angelo.
Two Dimes appeared and received a ‘promotion’ from D’Angelo on the show, which is quite ironic.
He also had a match, which saw him and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo lose to Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.
