WWE NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai has appeared in a promotional video ahead of the STARDOM 10th Anniversary show next month.
Shirai obviously has a lot of history with STARDOM having won many, many championships in the promotion before signing with NXT.
This is notable because WWE has reportedly denied the request of Kairi Sane to appear on the show.
Sane is no longer an in-ring talent for WWE but has moved to Japan in an ambassador-type role.
The plan was either for Sane to work a singles match or be in a battle royal, but WWE rejected them both.
The STARDOM anniversary show is scheduled for March 3, and the card is as follows:
- AZM vs. Natsupoi for the High Speed Championship
- Donna Del Mondo (Maika and Himeka) vs. Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora and Saki Kashima) for the Goddess of Stardom titles
- All Star Rumble battle royal
- Momo Watanabe vs. Nanae Takahashi
- Syuri vs. Konami for the SWA Undisputed World Women’s Championship
- Mayu Iwatani vs. Yoshiko in Iwatani’s 10th anniversary match
- Utami Hayashishita vs. Saya Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship
- Giulia vs. Tam Nakano in a hair vs. hair match for the Wonder of Stardom Championship
