WWE has announced a championship match for next week’s (September 7) edition of WWE NXT.
On last week’s show, Danny Burch made his return from injury to help Ridge Holland in his match with Timothy Thatcher. Lorcan and Burch aided in the assault of Thatcher after the match.
On this week’s show, NXT Tag Team Champions MSK approached Regal and offered to give Lorcan and Burch a shot at the Tag Team Championships, since they were stripped of the titles when Burch got injured.
Regal said that he was going to take the opportunity away from them after the attack on Thatcher, but since MSK want it, he sanctioned the match for next week’s show.
