All Elite Wrestling are scheduled to hold a Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party on February 7, where it’s expected they will reveal new talent that have signed to the company. We may have just had an early treat though, as The Lucha Bros of Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix have reportedly signed with AEW.
At last night’s Come Hell or High Water event in Atlanta, Cody and The Young Bucks made a surprise appearance. The main event of the show pitted The Lucha Bros against the duo of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, the latter pair already being contracted AEW talent.
After the match’s conclusion, The Young Bucks would make their way to the ring, before directly asking Pentagon and Fenix if they would like to come and wrestle in AEW. The Lucha Bros responded with a handshake, so while nothing official has been revealed as of yet, it’s some pretty strong evidence.
On top of this, AEW star Chris Jericho has taken to Twitter to begin a feud with the pair already. Jericho also mentions in his tweet that the pair have officially signed with AEW, so again, while nothing official has been reported as of yet, this is some pretty damning evidence.

The team have also responded to the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion, not backing down from the bigger star. You could say, they showed no fear.

You do not want to be near us #Animo— REY FENIX👑MexaKing (@ReyFenixMx) February 2, 2019
If The Lucha Bros do end up joining AEW, they’ll be joining the likes of Chris Jericho, Cody, The Young Bucks, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, PAC, and loads more. The tag team division is reported to be a large focus of AEW’s product, and inserting The Lucha Bros into that division is a huge get for the promotion.
