Peyton Royce Likely Post-WWE Name Revealed

The name that Peyton Royce, who was released from WWE as part of the mass firings last week, will be using on the independent scene has likely been revealed.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has not only changed all of her social media names to ‘Cassie Lee’, but has now trademarked the time, leading some to suggest that this will be the name she uses moving forward.

Peyton Royce (real name Cassandra McIntosh) filed to trademark the name ‘Cassie Lee’ with USPTO under the following descriptions:

“IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts”

“IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes”

While unconfirmed, many people have speculated that Peyton Royce and Billie Kay will be working together after both getting released by WWE last week. This comes after the company split the pair up unceremoniously in 2020.
