Recently Departed WWE Stars Spotted With AEW Stars

Former WWE NXT stars James Drake and Zack Gibson of the Grizzled Young Veterans (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid of the Dyad and Schism) officially left the company last month.

Gibson and Drake had requested their releases back in April, with WWE rejecting their request at the time, and the pair instead sitting out the remainder of their contracts, which expired in October.

Following their departure, the Grizzled Young Veterans have made numerous appearances on independent events, and today they met up with some AEW stars.

Taking to Twitter, Zack Gibson shared a photo of himself and his tag team partner, except it was not actually James Drake, but rather Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order doing his best impression of Drake.

John Silver then shared a photo of the GYV alongside himself, Reynolds and Evil Uno of the Dark Order.

The Dyad’s former Schism members have both recently teased major character shifts, with Ava being spotted entering Shawn Michaels’ office, while Joe Gacy has been cutting cryptic promos on NXT television.
