Possible Major Spoiler For NXT Halloween Havoc

A possible spoiler has emerged for a major championship match set for tonight’s WWE NXT Halloween Havoc show.

Since last month’s reboot of the NXT brand, Bron Breakker has had his eye on Tommaso Ciampa and the NXT Title. During tonight’s special, the young prospect will challenge the two-time NXT Champion for the gold.

As per WrestleVotes, a WWE source indicated that Breakker’s era of NXT will truly arrive on tonight’s show.

WrestleVotes took to Twitter to note that Ciampa’s time on top in NXT might be up, writing:

“Source states that tonight’s Halloween Havoc looks to be the launching of the Bron Breakker era in NXT. At the same time, Tommaso Ciampa’s run in NXT could be winding down. As evident, the youth movement within 2.0 continues.”

Breakker made his NXT TV debut on the September 14 episode, defeating LA Knight in singles action.

When NXT received its ‘complete reboot‘, it was revealed that WWE’s recruitment focus had changed, with the company wanting to hire ‘bigger, younger stars’, opposed to independent wrestling veterans.
