A possible spoiler has come to light for one of the top matches that will be taking place at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21.
On this coming Thursday’s show in Saudi Arabia, Big E is set to defend his WWE Championship for the first time in a match against Drew McIntyre.
The result seems to be a very predictable one in that E will retain since McIntyre is heading to SmackDown as of October 22 following the WWE Draft.
A new report appears to back this up, with Dave Meltzer reporting that the current plan for the December 26 house show at Madison Square Garden is Big E vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.
If WWE sticks to this plan, not only does it mean E will retain against McIntyre at Crown Jewel, but also that he’ll be holding onto the title for at least a couple more months.
Meltzer also noted that Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair is planned for the same MSG show.
