Potential New WWE Signing Backstage At SmackDown Before WrestleMania 40

Find out what free agent who is reportedly in talks to sign with WWE has been spotted backstage at SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania 40.

According to a report from PWInsider a major free agent has been spotted backstage at WWE SmackDown tonight in Philadelphia.

Per the report, former STARDOM star Giulia as well as the former booker of the company, Rossy Ogawa, are both backstage in Philadelphia at SmackDown.

It has been reported that WWE is interested in signing Giulia and this isn’t her first sighting in Philadelphia.

Elsewhere she has also been spotted at the fan event WWE World taking place surrounding the WrestleMania 40 festivities.

WWE’s interest in Giulia goes back several months.

The belief was that she would be joining WWE, but before that, she would be working for Ogawa’s new promotion in Japan to help get it up and running.

The story is that she had already made that verbal commitment to him before the interest became prevalent, and she wanted to stick to her word.

Ogawa has taken photos with a few WWE stars this weekend which have popped up on social media.
