Potential Spoiler On Planned NXT Stand & Deliver Main Event WWE

A new report has revealed a potential spoiler on the planned NXT Stand & Deliver main event for Saturday, April 6.

At NXT Vengeance Day, Carmelo Hayes showed his true colors when he betrayed Trick Williams in a brutal attack to close the show.

Then at NXT Roadblock 2024, Williams returned to get a measure of revenge on his former best friend.

This heated rivalry started back in October 2023 when Trick was attacked on NXT TV has been the focal point of programming for the brand since then.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that multiple sources in NXT have stated that the current plan is for the Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes bout to headline Stand & Deliver.

With this match not officially main eventing the show, the headline spot could still go to Ilja Dragunov defending the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo.

The report notes that officials are pushing for the heated storyline to get the main event spotlight at the time of this writing.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels has been very hands on with the Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams feud leading into NXT Stand & Deliver.

Michaels has helped plan and map out the storyline along with both Hayes and Williams since the start.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams could be on their way to the main roster following their clash at NXT Stand & Deliver, which you can read at this link.

WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams when they become available.
