AEW
The question of who backstage helped produce the truly epic two-out-of-three-falls AEW Tag Team Championship match between FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) has now been answered.
According to PWInsider it was in fact Ari Daivari who took the role as producer/coach for the 57-minute bout.
Daivari, who is still a member of the talent roster, usually competing alongside Tony Nese and Josh Woods as part of the Varsity Athletes, was supposedly brought into the role by former WWE producer Pat Buck.
PWInsider, also revealed that Buck is now in fact overseeing the coaching staff for each show under a new Vice President of Talent Coaching role.
FTR and Bullet Club Gold’s Collision classic was extremely close to running the complete hour allowed time limit, but with just minutes remaining Harwood forced Robinson to tap to the sharpshooter, unsurprisingly to the delight of the Calgary faithful.
FTR’s next defence is set for the July 29 Collision, where they will take on either Adam Cole & MJF or Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia, who compete in the finals of the blind eliminator tag tournament on next weeks Dynamite (July 19).
