Details have emerged on the backstage producer listed for the main event segment of the Elimination Chamber premium live event.

In the main event of the show, Sami Zayn challenged for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

With his home-province behind him, Zayn battled the odds, wrestling an exciting match with the Tribal Chief.

After appearances from Jimmy and Jey Uso, Reigns ultimately picked up the victory, capitalising on the chaos, after Zayn accidentally speared Jey.

Reigns brutalised Zayn with a chair before hitting one more spear for the victory. After the bout, Kevin Owens saved Zayn from the post-match beatdown, but left Zayn in the ring to close the show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the match was produced by Michael Hayes, who has worked on countless segments with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline in recent years.

Reigns is now scheduled to defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.

The Tribal Chief recently passed 900 days at Universal Champion, following his title win in August 2020. He has been recognised as WWE’s undisputed champion since WrestleMania 38, when Reigns won a Winner Takes All match for the WWE and Universal titles.

Bray Wyatt has now fired a shot at Roman Reigns, questioning his original Universal Title win.
