CM Punk made his grand return to the world of professional wrestling and everyone is excited, except for R-Truth, apparently.
Truth came across a clip on Tik Tok of CM Punk speaking on the now infamous Art of Wrestling Podcast episode with Colt Cabana from late 2014, where he revealed his frustrations with WWE that lead to him walking out on the promotion, and professional wrestling for the next seven years.
One of the booking decisions that Punk found questionable was when he and Triple H were booked to lose a tag team match to The Miz and R-Truth at the Vengeance pay-per-view in October 2011.
Truth commented on the video containing the clip, and he didn’t hold back his thoughts, saying:
“CM Punk you lost to me and Miz cause we were HOTTER than you sorry, and I neva thought you were impressive at all, just typical entitlement.”
R-Truth isn’t the only person to be down on Punk since his return, with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T claiming that Punk ‘struck out’ with his return promo on Rampage.
