The reason why WWE has called NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux to the Yuengling Center for Friday Night SmackDown tonight has been revealed.
PWInsider is reporting that Karrion Kross will be taking part in a dark match for WWE officials before the show tonight, presumably as part of a scouting mission for a potential call-up in the near future.
For what it’s worth, PWInsider also reporting that North American Champion Bronson Reed is backstage at the arena ahead of Friday Night SmackDown tonight.
The report notes that Bronson Reed will also be taking part in a dark match for WWE officials and higher-ups before the SmackDown show tonight. This is presumably also with a potential main roster call-up in mind.
