Reason Luke Harper Never Returned To Main Roster Revealed

Poor Luke Harper. Not only has he had his request to leave WWE rejected, but the company has now added two months to his contract because it was frozen while he was injured.

You know it’s really not easy to defend WWE in times like this.

As we reported last week, it was revealed that Harper had been scheduled for a return feud with the also returning Sami Zayn, but that this was scrapped. Why? Here’s why…*head slap* as reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

“Vince said that he didn’t “get him” and complained that he couldn’t even do a Southern accent (that was from them wanting him to do a Southern accent four years ago). He was regularly pitching ideas when he was out with an injury and they turned down every pitch.”

There’s a surprise, it was Vince. So it doesn’t matter that Harper is one of the most talented big guys in the whole of WWE because he can’t do an accent and therefore he’s utterly worthless.

It looks like he’s just gonna have to sit around and wait for his contract to end now, because you can’t see him being given anything now that he’s publicly announced his desire to leave.
