A released WWE star has dropped a teaser on social media following officially becoming a free agent today (December 21).
The latest batch of WWE releases took place back on September 21, with many names from both the WWE main roster and NXT being released from their contracts.
One of those names was Shelton Benjamin, who celebrated his 20th anniversary in WWE last year.
Today, with the 90 day non-compete clauses officially expired, Benjamin took to Instagram to drop a hilarious teaser for his wrestling future now he is a free agent.
Benjamin’s teaser, dubbed over a clip of Godzilla awakening, sees Shelton wake up from his ‘vacation’, looking to see who is hiring so he can make money.
He captioned the vide0:
It’s been fun actually having time to focus on me and enjoy the many fruits of my labors. But all good things must end so time to strap up my boots and get back in the game. Big adventures ahead #justdowork
