While every wrestler and their mother has something to say about Vince McMahon, it’s been a very long time since Vince himself has done any kind of media interviews.
He does make the odd appearance when he has to, but that’s mainly to tell everyone how much money WWE has made after firing a bunch of wrestlers, but his interview and TV time has decreased significantly in recent years.
He did make an appearance at the start of WrestleMania 37 to welcome back fans and to tell everyone how important they are, but then they gave us last week’s Raw so now I don’t believe him.
The reason for his unwillingness to be interview is very simple, at least according to PWInsider, who explain that Vince simply “doesn’t want to” do interviews anymore.
It was noted that it’s clear he doesn’t even want to be on the company conference calls anymore, which may not be surprising considering he is now 75. That’s almost too old to be a US President.
The days of TV authority figure Vince McMahon are long gone, but there’s no sign of him leaving his backstage role any time soon.
