There were a lot of excellent, high-level stables in wrestling during the 90s. However, the Latino World Order was not given the chance to be one of them in WCW.
Rey Mysterio was a member of the group and recently said that he thinks the group would be successful today. Here is the quote from his interview on Ryan Satin on Out of Character, courtesy of Fightful:
“If you think about it, things that were cool back then, are becoming cool once again. I truly believe the LWO would be a huge success nowadays. It might happen. There’s so much talent and the talent that is yet to come.”
The Latino World Order was a faction of Lucha Libre stars in WCW led by Eddie Guerrero. WCW’s track record at the time was not the greatest and the faction was another idea that was not given the legs to make it to the main event scene.
Among the members of the faction were Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Juventud Guerrera, La Parka, and Psicosis.
