NWA legend, 16-time world champion, two-time WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling royalty Ric Flair is set to make his historic return to the NWA at the promotion’s NWA 73 anniversary show.
The promotion made the announcement on their official Twitter account earlier today, posting a hype video for the ‘GOAT’s return to his old stomping ground.

Flair also recently appeared in the ring at AAA TripleMania XXIX, where he chopped AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega. AEW Star Darby Allin has since expressed that he wants to team with Sting against Andrade El Idolo and Flair in AEW.
Flair showing up for the NWA should have no effect on his rumoured signing with AEW.
NWA 73 streams live on Fite TV on August 29, 2021.
