Andrade has now sent a message to Ricochet following their WWE Speed Championship match, amid uncertainty about Ricochet’s in-ring future.
Friday’s (June 14) edition of WWE Speed was a notable one, with Andrade pinning Ricochet on the show to become the second ever WWE Speed Champion.
This title match was previously filmed ahead of the June 7 SmackDown taping, with news that Ricochet was planning to leave WWE emerging on June 8, with his contract expiring this summer.
While there is still some uncertainty surrounding whether or not Ricochet actually does leave WWE, Andrade has taken to Twitter to thank Ricochet following the title change.
Sharing the WWE Speed match, Andrade wrote:
Thank you @KingRicochet, You are Amazing!!! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Ricochet was seemingly written off WWE TV on the June 10 edition of Raw, with Bron Breakker slamming him through the windshield of a car during a backstage brawl.
The former WWE Speed champion was taken away in an ambulance, with his fiancee and WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin leaving the arena with him.
