‘Road Dogg’ Brian James has broken his silence following his shock WWE release.
James was one of many Performance Center names let go by WWE on January 5. The former WWE writer, producer and coach has since taken to his personal Facebook account to thank everyone for the support, noting that he’s doing well.
Preparing to focus on himself for the next few days, Road Dogg wrote:
“Guys, I’m doing well and I thank you for all the love. I’m gonna take a few days for myself and process this. God is still on the throne and will provide. It’s just business!”
James worked as a writer on Smackdown until 2019 transitioning to a producer role in NXT. Prior to his release, James was teaching classes on promos and character development at the WWE Performance Center.
Other notable names released on January 5 included William Regal and Scott Armstrong.
We wish Brian James the best for the future.
