Road Dogg has sent a message to Billy Gunn following the DX reunion on last night’s (October 10) episode of WWE Raw.
Gunn was notably absent from the reunion, though there was some speculation that he would make a last-minute appearance, or film a video message for the episode.
WWE apparently considered bringing Gunn in to participate in the festivities at one point, though it is not known how far along this plan progressed before it was scrapped.
After the reunion, Road Dogg tweeted his erstwhile partner to tell him that his former crew “missed [him],” and joked that delivering his signature lightning-fast promo was “touch and go,” presumably due to his age.
I survived…… and for a minute it was touch and go!! We missed you @RealBillyGunn #WWERaw #DX25 @youdidntknowpod

Gunn is currently enjoying a popular run in AEW, where he manages current AEW World Tag Team Champions the Acclaimed.
While he did not appear, he was referenced more than once: Road Dogg allowed time for the crowd to fill in Gunn’s part of the famous New Age Outlaws promo, while Shawn Michaels made a scissor motion with his hands, referencing Gunn’s AEW catchphrase of “Scissor me Daddy Ass.”
Corey Graves also mentioned that Gunn now does “something with stationary,” (i.e. scissors) in another reference to the gimmick.
