Congratulations to a current WWE star and a former WWE talent, who have today announced their engagement together.
On last week’s WWE NXT show, Zaria officially retired the Women’s Speed Championship following her victory over Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong at NXT Heatwave.
As such, Lexis King was forced to vacate the title, with his men’s Speed Championship also being retired.

However, though King has lost in his professional life, he has won in his personal life.
Taking to social media today, former WWE talent Carolina Cruz revealed that her and Lexis are now officially engaged.
She wrote:
I get to marry my best friend!!!🥹♥️
The person who came into my life when I least expected it and showed me the kind of love I thought only existed in movies.
I truly believe God made you for me. My real-life happily ever after. 🤍✨
We send our congratulations to Lexis and Carolina on the exciting new chapter in their lives.
Caroline Cruz signed with WWE back in October 2023, with her going on to compete under the name Emma Diaz on live events, but she was ultimately released from the company before she made her debut on NXT television.
She has since competed in a match on AEW Collision, and competed on MLW Fusion back in May.
Lexis King leads the Birthright faction on NXT television with other second generation stars like Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors, Arianna Grace and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
More Names To Join Birthright?
On this week’s WWE NXT show, Birthright would interrupt Zilla Fatu, with them looking to recruit Zilla into the group given his second generation lineage.
With Zilla seemingly rejecting the request to join, we could see other second generation names join the group in the coming weeks.
Brooks Jensen has not been seen on WWE television in several weeks, with him spending most of his time as part of Evolve this year.
The son of Bull Buchanan would make for a natural fit to the Birthright stable, as would Jacob Henry, the son of Mark Henry who recently signed to the WWE Performance Center and has yet to debut on TV.
On the women’s side, Marie Malenko joined WWE back in May, with her also yet to make her debut on TV as a second generation star, the daughter of Dean Malenko.
