WWE Women’s Royal Rumble 2027 Winner Plans

With 2026 now in its latter third, WWE will have one eye on the all-important road to WrestleMania 43, which kick offs with the 2027 Royal Rumble event in Glendale, AZ.

Unlike the men’s Royal Rumble, which appears to have a firm favorite already in Oba Femi, the women’s Rumble field is far more open, with more than one strong contender emerging.

Here are three potential winners of the 2027 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble.

Sol Ruca

After an impressive breakout performance in the 2026 Women’s Rumble that saw her make it to the final three, could we see Sol Ruca go all the way in 2027?

Based on her current WWE booking it’s certainly hard to say whether Ruca should be a frontrunner or not. While she clearly is a future world champion, it hasn’t been total smooth sailing on the main roster for her thus far.

Her Women’s Intercontinental Title run – which looked set to be the launchpad for her career – came to an end after less than two months, and only two successful defenses.

While she may very well claim that title back before the end of the year, it’s hard to confidently say WWE have done enough with her for fans to buy into the idea she would win the Rumble next year. However, if she is booked strongly for the next five months that could certainly change.

Bianca Belair

Like she was last year, Bianca Belair will likely be among the betting favorites to win the 2027 Royal Rumble, even if she hasn’t made her return to WWE in-ring competition between now and then.

Absent from the ring for over 16 months, Belair has been dealing with a serious and complicated finger injury, as well being pregnant with her and Montez Ford’s first child together.

With Belair giving birth in August, fans can likely start to hope for a WWE return at some point in the new year, however, there’s no telling what her status is given the aforementioned injury trouble she’s been through.

Whether it materialises or not, Belair must be considered a favorite to win next year’s Royal Rumble given how long she’s been out.

Naomi

As is the case with Belair, Naomi’s WWE return status is up in the air given that she too has been off TV due to her own pregnancy, which she announced on Raw back in August 2025.

At the time of her announcement, Naomi was putting on the best work of her career as a maniacal heel Women’s World Champion, and fans will be excited to see that resume once she’s fit and able to compete.

Without a clear and obvious frontrunner among the WWE talent that are currently competing on Raw and SmackDown, it feels as if Naomi will win the match if she enters it, with the only hurdle potentially being Belair if she also came back.

Considering she never lost her Women’s World Title there is certainly a ready made path to WrestleMania for Naomi should she return.
