WWE’s Bianca Belair Announces Birth Of Her & Montez Ford’s Son

WWE star Bianca Belair has announced the birth of her and husband Montez Ford’s first son Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford today.

Back at WrestleMania 42, Bianca Belair made her return to WWE television after a year out of action, with her last competing in the Women’s World Championship Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41 against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.

Bianca suffered a finger injury during the match, but during her WrestleMania 42 appearance, announced a much more positive reason for her absence, revealing that she was pregnant with her and husband Montez Ford’s first son together.

Bianca was already several weeks pregnant at the time of the announcement, with her recalling a conversation she had with Triple H about doing the reveal at WrestleMania.

Taking to social media today (August 4), Bianca announced the birth of her and Montez Ford’s son Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford.

Sharing two photos, she wrote:

Welcome to the world Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford

We send our congratulations to Bianca and Montez ahead of this exciting new chapter in their lives.

Montez Ford made his return to WWE television on the Raw after WrestleMania 42, with him and Angelo Dawkins capturing the World Tag Team Championship from the Vision shortly after.

WWE Women’s Stars Prove Pregnancy Isn’t A Career Ender

Back in 2020, Becky Lynch announced live on Monday Night Raw that she was pregnant, with her vacating the Raw Women’s Championship and handing it over to Money In The Bank winner Asuka.

Becky’s pregnancy announcement was the first time since the start of the ‘Women’s Revolution’ in WWE that a top female star announced their pregnancy, with Becky even admitting since in interviews that she was worried doing so would get her heat with Vince McMahon and concern that she would ‘ruin things’ for a generation of women looking to become top stars.

However, Becky returning to her top spot after giving birth only proved that pregnancy is far from a career ender for a women’s wrestler, with other names such as Alexa Bliss, Candice LeRae and most recently Naomi and Bianca Belair also taking time off due to pregnancy in the years since.

WWE’s women’s division continues to inspire generations of women around the world, whether it be their performances in the ring or their stories outside the ring that make them an inspiration to women everywhere.
