Brock Lesnar WWE Status Major Update After Losing To Oba Femi At SummerSlam

A major update has emerged on the WWE status of Brock Lesnar after he lost to Oba Femi at SummerSlam this past weekend.

Night one of SummerSlam played host to the main event Hell in a Cell match between Lesnar and Femi, which saw Femi emerge victorious.

After the match, Lesnar embraced Femi and grabbed a microphone to put Femi over as “the future,” while at the same time referring to himself as “the past.”

Lesnar seemed to retired from WWE at WrestleMania 42 in April after losing to Femi the first time around, but then returned for the matches they had at Clash In Italy and SummerSlam.

When asked about Lesnar’s future during the post-SummerSlam press conference, Triple H simply said that Lesnar does whatever he wants, so he didn’t confirm anything either way.

However, in something of an official update since it comes from the WWE website, Lesnar has been moved the alumni section of the company’s roster page, being moved out of the current roster section.

This was also the case after his Mania “retirement” before he was moved back onto the current roster page when he returned.

So while this doesn’t rule out the possibility of a return down the line, he is clearly going to be off WWE TV for the time being at the very least.

One Last Match For Brock Lesnar In WWE

While Brock Lesnar has now had two perfect sendoff moments – the two losses to Oba Femi at WrestleMania and SummerSlam – there might be one more match before his career is all said and done.

Back in 2024, WWE was planning to hold a match between GUNTHER and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 40 before Lesnar was off TV for two years due to his presence in the major sexual trafficking and abuse lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon.

With GUNTHER having since taken on the ‘Career Killer’ moniker, ending the careers of Goldberg, John Cena, AJ Styles and now possibly Nick Aldis, he may be the ultimate final opponent for Lesnar and one more name to add to that list.
