
WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has commented on his future with AEW following his in-ring debut for the company.
Van Dam notably wrestled on the August 9 edition of Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging for Jack Perry’s FTW Championship.
There has been a lot of speculation since this match about Van Dam’s wrestling future, with the star having ties with both AEW and WWE.
Speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast (via Inside The Ropes), Van Dam revealed that he and Khan have talked about a potential return:
“Well, was it talked about between me and Tony (Khan) about me coming back? Yeah.
“The details of that conversation? We’ll have to wait and see.”
Recalling Tony Khan’s reaction to his match against Jack Perry, Rob Van Dam said:
“He was very thankful. Very thankful. He loved the match.
“He said, it was awesome and it was awesome having me there.”
