WWE NXT commentator Booker T has now reacted to Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam making his AEW in-ring debut on Dynamite.
The former WWE Champion wrestled on the August 9 show, unsuccessfully challenging for Jack Perry’s FTW Championship.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T noted that he enjoyed seeing Rob Van Dam doing his thing.
Believing that the wrestling veteran did a good job, Booker T said:
“It was good to see Rob out there doing his thing, because I’m gonna tell you, Rob loves the squared circle.
“Rob is in his zone when he’s inside the squared circle, and I give him props for going out and bringing back some of the old hits.
“I thought Rob did damn good. You could tell, though, one thing about when you get to that number, you got to think about everything before you do it.
“You don’t just think, you asked God to help out a little bit.”
The backstage reaction to Rob Van Dam’s AEW match has now been revealed, which you can read more about at this link.
