Roman Reigns Tribal Court Segment Draws Highest Wrestling Quarter Hour ‘In Recent Memory’ WWE

Roman Reigns Tribal Court segment has drawn the highest wrestling quarter hour “in recent memory.”

As previously reported, the July 7 edition of SmackDown drew an incredible rating largely based on the widely praised “Tribal Court” segment featuring The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman and The Usos.

More details has been revealed regarding the success of the segment now.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the second quarter hour of last Friday night’s SmackDown, which featured the middle of the Tribal Court and had no ads, averaged more than three million viewers and a 0.94 demo rating (1.23 million viewers).

This is huge numbers that are higher than any wrestling quarter-hour in recent memory, according to Thurston.

The Roman Reigns Tribal Court is the latest in a long line of segments centered around Reigns and The Bloodline that have drawn massive ratings with the recent 1,000 day celebration and the Trial of Sami Zayn being the most notable examples.

The overall show’s success was also benefitted by following the WWE Money In The Bank 2023 event from London the weekend prior.
